{"id":402,"date":"2017-12-05T09:40:52","date_gmt":"2017-12-05T17:40:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amcling.northernhorizons.net\/?p=402"},"modified":"2017-12-05T10:01:05","modified_gmt":"2017-12-05T18:01:05","slug":"glimpse-two","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amcling.northernhorizons.net\/?p=402","title":{"rendered":"Glimpse Two"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>I seek to prepare to celebrate the birth of God-with-Us this year by watching for instances of the holy breaking into the ordinary.\u00a0 With eyes wide open and a spirit attempting to be attentive, I will share glimpses of glory that I witness as Christmas approaches.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">They shall not hurt or destroy on all my holy mountain.<\/p>\n<p>The five of them stopped nibbling and stood at full attention, watching as the wheelbarrow and I approached. After a few moments and as I continued to draw closer, they pranced a short distance, white flags fully raised. When they had gone no more than twenty yards, they stopped, turned and watched some more. Finally I was the one to pivot, tend to the wheelbarrow and withdraw. Twenty minutes later, I was back. One deer had returned to munch and again gave me her complete, undivided attention &#8211; until she decided to saunter into a small stand of trees near by, from which she continued the vigil.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not sure how they received or read the memo, but it seems the message got through: you are welcome here.
